Rehearsal party and family visit: Daniel Watt & Noelle England wedding

This will be a random selection of photos starting with Dawson family visit in Cape Breton, moving on to the rehearsal party at the Shadow Lawn Inn in Rothesay, New Brunswick, to our free day touring Saint John. In fact this post is to help keep me smiling as the Dawson family has just left for Halifax to will fly out early tomorrow morning and I am more than a little sad. I will begin a new post with more wedding pictures and another for the rest of the Dawson family visit in Cape Breton.

Daniel Watt & Noelle England: the wedding

Here are a few pictures of Daniel & Noelle's wedding on Saturday, September 24th. I'll add more photos as I have time and as more come in from friends and family. The day started with rain but the sun came out just in time for the bride to arrive. It was a grand day: a warm, moving & gently funny ceremony, a joyous party & dance, endless bits of wonderful food. As Sheila commented, she is waiting for another tray of delicate cranberry and cheese tarts to pass by.

We had huge winds last night so the sea was big. Mackenzie, when she saw the waves at Little River Beach, decided she needed to jump them. First her feet got wet, then her pants, then my feet, then my pants. She stripped down a bit; I didn't. The sun was bright, the water was surprisingly warm and we both enjoyed ourselves. So did Honey.
